Simple Bridal Shower Cookies

My friend Tracy, who is the party queen, asked me to do some cookies for a bridal shower she was hosting.

I thought this shape would be fun!  There was something similar on the invitation.

She wanted some of them to have an S and some not to.

I really like the colors she used!

Popcorn cookies

Wednesday was my son's last day of Mother's Day Out.  I really feel like he just started!  Next year he'll be in Preschool.  So hard to believe!

I made some popcorn cookies for his teachers to go into a little gift basket.  I saw these cookies and thought they would be fun!

This is the movie night gift basket I made each teacher.  Here's where I got the idea.
I was in a hurry to take these pictures but it says, "Spiderman, Batman, pick one to see.  You are a SUPERHERO to me!"  When I saw this idea, I knew I really wanted to do it.  Our son, Caleb, overcame an eating issue this year and we are SO thankful!!!  When he started the school year, he was eating pureed baby food and drinking milk, and that's it.  He has been in speech and occupational therapy for a year and a half because he had a severe gag reflex and in January he finally started eating!  I knew that being around kids his own age and watching them eat and having teachers that were willing to work with him would make a huge difference and it did.  I know it got really messy for a while and we appreciate them so much!  Thank you Ms. Karen and Ms. Sally!!!!

OBU

Our Music Director at church asked me to make some cookies for his daughter's graduation party/piano recital.  She is going to Ouachita Baptist University next year so they wanted purple and gold.

You Rock!

Hello!!! I forgot that I had more pictures to post! I've been busy this summer keeping up with a very active 2-year-old, putting our daughter's nursery together, and just trying to survive this heat!

Here are some guitar and "You Rock" cookies I did a while ago. They were so much fun!

I've got more to post later. Hope you're all having a great summer!

Mason Jars

A friend of mine asked me to do some cookies with Mason jars on them for a wedding shower she threw for her sister-in-law. She was throwing a "country" shower and I thought that was a really cute theme! She used mason jars as cups and tied ribbons around them. So that's what I tried to do. Nutt will be their last name and that's the date of the wedding. So if you think of the Ball jars, that's what I tried to match the writing to. That was Ginger's idea and I thought it was so cute! I really liked how these turned out!

Welcome to Arkansas!

I did these for a friend who has a friend that just moved to Arkansas. I saw some like the US one on one of my favorite cookie blogs a while ago and when I was asked to make some "welcome to Arkansas" cookies I wanted to try Bridget's idea. It was hard to do the shape of Arkansas so small and I know it's not geographically correct but that's the fun of it! I love how they turned out!
